All the youth were taken on a tour to the tourist places in and around Sambalpur. In this, he visited various places including IIM Sambalpur, Samleshwari Mata Temple, Huma Temple, Hirakud Dam, Deorigarh Wildlife Sanctuary Park. The participants visited the famous Sambalpuri saree manufacturer Craft Village Charpali and saw for themselves how the weavers in every house here make Sambalpuri sarees.

On the last day of the Youth Conclave, Himachal Team Leader Guman Singh Negi shared his experiences and told how tourism is going on in Himachal Pradesh and what can be improved in Orissa. He said that on the last day of the program the youth from all over the country danced to the folk dance of Kinnaur. The team from Himachal participated under the leadership of Yashpal Kapoor, Coordinator of National Youth Scheme, Himachal Pradesh.
The rich culture of Kinnaur district became famous in Orissa. The team included Mala Negi, Sujata Negi, Naina Negi, Rajwanti Negi, Sharmila Negi, Alpana Negi, Mangesh Negi, Ashil Negi. 207 youth from 17 states also participated in this Youth Conclave.
