The winter session of the Legislative Assembly in Himachal Pradesh is starting from tomorrow (Wednesday) at Tapovan in Dharamshala. For this, the entire government will leave for Dharamshala from Shimla today. The 4-day long winter session is starting in Tapovan from 11 am on Wednesday.

Therefore, this week Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, his cabinet ministers and departmental secretaries will also not meet in Shimla. Chief Minister Sukhu will reach Dharamshala in the afternoon. Whereas Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan reached Dharamshala last evening. On the other hand, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, who went to Delhi to attend the Chief Secretary Conference, will reach Dharamshala directly from Delhi.
Obviously, heat will be seen in Tapovan Dharamshala for the next 4 days. Congress and BJP legislative parties will formulate its strategy this evening in Dharamshala. Chief Minister Sukhu and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur have called a meeting of the legislature party in Dharamshala in the evening.

During this session, BJP can raise those issues of corruption which have been raised in the document named ‘Kachcha Chittha’ submitted by BJP to the Governor. BJP made serious allegations of corruption on the Chief Minister’s Office in the raw document.
House may debate on Land Ceiling Act
During the session, the Congress government is going to bring a bill to amend the Land Ceiling Act. Chief Minister Sukhu has assured to transfer the land of Bhota Hospital of Hamirpur to the name of the sister organization of Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Presently Radha Soami Satsang is running Beas Hospital here.
According to the Land Ceiling Act, donated land cannot be transferred. In such a situation, the Congress government wants to bring amendments in the Act. There may be conflict between the ruling party and the opposition regarding this. Because the previous BJP government also wanted to amend it. But then Congress, while being in opposition, had described it as an attempt to sell Himachal.
BJP will protest tomorrow
Whereas BJP has decided to protest at Zorawar Stadium in Dharamshala on the very first day of the session. Keeping this in view, both the ruling party and the opposition will make strategies in the legislature party.
