BJP Yuva Morcha workers burnt the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah at Zanjeerwala intersection in front of the statue of Veer Savarkar late on Thursday night in protest against the alleged attack on the Congress office along with the insult of Baba Saheb by the Indore City Youth Congress.

Suspended Congress city president Surjit Singh Chadha says that BJP Yuva Morcha came to the office and threw stones, petrol bombs and threw shoes and slippers. Congress filed FIR against BJYM workers

Congress leaders reached Pandharinath police station on Thursday night in protest against the demonstration at the Congress office. These included former MLA Ashwin Joshi, Congress District President Sadashiv Yadav and other leaders. Joshi said that Congress workers and the office were attacked in the presence of police. Police should register an FIR. On this the police officers said that you should give it in writing. Former MLA Joshi said that when the police was present there, why should we give it in writing. The police should go ahead and take action in this matter. After which an FIR was registered in Pandharinath police station in the name of unknown person.
