Even on the 10th day of the winter session of Parliament, there was a lot of uproar over the Adani issue. Meanwhile, the opposition is preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. 70 opposition MPs have said to sign the proposal. However, to remove the Chairman, only the signatures of 20 members are required.
Sources of news agency PTI said that in August itself, the opposition parties had collected the necessary signatures, but they had decided to give Dhankhar another chance. Now the opposition says that Dhankhar works impartially in the House.
Outside Parliament, Congress MP Digvijay Singh said – I have never seen such a biased Speaker in my entire political life.
The rules under which the issues were rejected. They are stopping us from speaking on it, but are allowing the MPs from the ruling party to speak.
My allegation is that today he has run the House in a grossly partisan manner. Everyone knows that the Modi government is making such efforts only to save Adani and divert the issues.

Pramod Tiwari said- Central government is saving Adani Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said that I am accusing the central government of weakening the House. Pramod Tiwari further said;-
The BJP government is an equal partner in Adani’s money and corruption. She does not want Adani’s name to come up, hence she is not allowing the House to function.
BJP had raised the issue of foreign funding of Congress in the House. During Zero Hour, BJP MPs demanded a discussion on the issue of foreign funding coming to Congress. Leader in Rajya Sabha J.P. Nadda raised questions about the relationship between the Forum of Democratic Leaders in Asia-Pacific (FDL-AP) organization and George Soros. He claimed that this forum wants to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India and it gets financial help from Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
Congress says that BJP wants to divert attention from Adani case. That is why Congress is being accused of foreign funding. Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leaders accused Dhankhar of being biased in favor of the BJP.
TMC-SP also signed the no-confidence motion SP and TMC included in the INDIA block have also signed the no-confidence motion. However, for the last few days both the parties did not participate in the INDIA Block demonstration. SP and TMC say that there should be discussion in the House besides Adani issue, but Congress is adamant only on Adani issue.

NDA has 293 members and INDIA has 236 members in the Lok Sabha. The majority is at 272. Even if the opposition convinces the other 14 members, it will be difficult to pass the motion.
3. Will the Chairman be in the chair during the proceedings: As per the general judicial principle, the Chairman will not sit on the Rajya Sabha bench when the motion is presented and discussed.
