In Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, 21 year old Anmol was murdered by three friends during a dispute over an old matter. After this an attempt was made to drown the body in the dam. But on December 15, the police recovered the body from the dam.

The dead body was identified as Anmol, resident of village Tiltangar of Manora Chowki area. After identification, the police laid a trap of informers to catch the killer.
Jashpur police has arrested the accused.
Informers informed the police that the towel recovered from the spot belonged to Kalinder Ram, a resident of Tiltangar. The deceased was roaming with Kalinder, Mahendra and Dharamu for the last few days. On the basis of suspicion, the police detained them and interrogated them. The accused admitted to murder.
The accused told that Anmol had been released from jail a few days ago after being released on bail. On December 2, all four together planned to eat chicken and sat down to drink alcohol on the way. While intoxicated, a dispute broke out between them over an old issue.
During the dispute, the accused together killed Anmol by strangulating him with a towel. To escape from the police, the body was tied to a stone and thrown into the dam. But their plan could not succeed as the dead body came above the water.
