Temperature in 22 districts reached below 10 degrees
The condition of cold is such that according to Birsa Krishi Vigyan Kendra, minimum mercury was recorded at 2.4 in Kanke, Ranchi and 2 degrees in McCluskieganj on Monday. Here, the minimum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 7.9 degrees.
The condition of cold is such that a blanket of fog is visible over the crops grown in the fields.
There was a slight increase of 0.3 degrees in the minimum temperature on Monday as compared to Sunday. The minimum temperature in 22 districts of the state has reached below 10 degrees Celsius. Talking about the urban area of Ranchi, the difference between the minimum temperature in Kanke, Tatisilve and Hinnu of Ranchi is 3 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature of Garhwa in the state has been recorded at 4 degrees. Due to falling temperature, dew drops accumulated on the fields, barns and trees and plants in McCluskieganj. Public life has also become disorganized. There is silence in the market as the evening approaches. People are saving themselves with the help of bonfire. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that there is a possibility of rain on 20th and 21st December. Both days will be cloudy. The temperature will drop after the rain.

Statistics show that in the last 5 years, Ranchi’s lowest temperature in December was recorded at 4.7 degrees in 2019. The minimum temperature did not fall below 8 degrees in the last two years. But, this time on December 15 it reached 7.6 degrees.
Cold will increase again after rain
According to Meteorological Center Ranchi, there will be a change in the weather again. There will be clouds in some parts of the state from December 17. This will increase the minimum temperature and there will be some reduction in cold. The minimum temperature is likely to increase by 3 to 5 degrees in the next three days. After this, there is a possibility of light rain across the state including Ranchi on 20th and 21st December. After the rain ends, there will be severe cold once again.
