In Gandhinagar, Gujarat, a newly married wife got her husband murdered just four days later. Actually, the wife loved her cousin. The cousin, with the help of his two friends, kidnapped the husband and strangled him to death. After this the dead body was taken to Narmada Canal.

The husband was coming to pick up his wife for her first farewell. Bhavik, a resident of Ahmedabad, was married to Payal of Gandhinagar. Four days after the marriage, i.e. last Saturday, Bhavik was going from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar on bike to take his wife for her first farewell. Meanwhile, the accused first hit the bike with a SUP car on a deserted road. After this, they took the injured Bhavik in the car and strangled him to death on the way. After this the accused threw his body in the Narmada Canal and fled.

Bike seen lying on the road When Bhavik did not reach Gandhinagar for a long time, his in-laws called his parents. The reply received was that Bhavik had left for Gandhinagar in the morning itself. At the same time, Bhavik’s phone was also switched off. Fearing something untoward, both the families set out to search for him. Meanwhile, his bike was seen lying on the roadside.
Police already suspected the wife The police became suspicious after hearing that Bhavik had been kidnapped just four days after his marriage. The police first started interrogating Payal. The wife started getting nervous after hearing some questions from the police. When the police interrogated her strictly, she confessed to her crime that she along with her lover Kalpesh had conspired to kidnap and murder Bhavik.
Police have registered a case of murder, conspiracy to murder and kidnapping under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and started further action.
