In Sirmaur, a young man died after slipping and falling into a deep ditch. The young man’s mother is a widow and he was the only son, who used to support his family by driving a truck. There were only mother and son in the house. After the death of her son, the widowed mother is now left alone at home.

The youth, Roshan Kumar, is a resident of Dhar Chuldiya, who was 31 years old. That Mr. Renuka ji used to work as a truck driver in Dadhlaghat, Shimla. He had come home to renew his driving license. On Monday, he had come to Sataun for some work and was going to Shri Renuka ji by car with his friends.
When he reached near Naira Dhang of Giripar area, he got down from the car to defecate. When he went to the roadside, he lost his balance and slipped and fell into a deep ditch.
The young man’s father has already died. After which the villagers and police around the village were informed. As soon as the information was received, the villagers reached the spot and started searching for the young man. After some time, the villagers and the police found the young man in a critical condition from a deep ditch and brought him to the Civil Hospital, but the doctors in the hospital declared him dead.
The husband of Shanti Devi, the mother of the deceased youth, had already passed away and Shanti Devi raised her only son Roshan. Roshan was the last support of the woman in her old age, now the woman is alone at home. Paonta Sahib DSP Manvendra Thakur said that a youth has died after falling into a ditch. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
