Sridevi was seen in a double role in the film Chaalbaaz. Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth were also seen along with the actress in this film. This film was released in theaters in the year 1989. The film’s director Pankaj Parashar has recently shared some interesting stories related to the sets of the film. He told that Sunny Deol had gone missing before the shooting of the song and the actress had shot the song alone in fever.
Sunny Deol disappeared in the name of dancing- Pankaj
Filmmaker Pankaj Parashar said in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan that when Sunny Deol was told about the shooting of a song sequence that he had to dance, he disappeared from the set for two hours after hearing this. Sridevi kept waiting for him on the set.

Sridevi asked Pankaj to make a new dance sequence.
The director further said that this song was shot in three days. Sridevi was demanding a lot of money before the shooting. The actress had challenged choreographer Saroj Khan to design a new dance sequence. Which has not been done in any song before. It was decided that Sunny Deol would also dance with Sridevi in the song.

Shooting even when unwell
Pankaj Parashar said- ‘We started shooting the song, when it was time for Sunny to dance, he took a break and said that I will just come from the bathroom. Then he disappeared from the set for 2 hours. Meanwhile, Sridevi kept waiting for him, when Sunny returned after 2 hours, the song was shot. During this time the actress was also not well. He had fever. But despite being ill, he completed the shoot.
Sridevi had also shot the song ‘Bukhar’.
Distribute money to the crew after pack-up
The director said, ‘Sridevi’s mother was present on the set during the shoot, and if her mother had known, she would have stopped the shooting. So I told Sri to send his mother to the makeup room. Sridevi was so happy with the shooting of the song that she distributed the money to the crew after pack-up.

Director Pankaj said, ‘Sridevi had completed the shoot of the song at 2 o’clock in the night. At 2 o’clock I asked her to go home because she was ill, but she said, ‘No, I am not going. Just give me 10 minutes, I will be back’. Sridevi came back after taking bath. He had a bag full of money in his hand. He called the entire unit after the shoot and distributed money to everyone. She was very happy with the shoot of this song.
The actress died due to drowning in the bathtub
Let us tell you, Sridevi died on February 24, 2018 due to drowning in the bathtub in a hotel room in Dubai.
