A woman resident of Putrikheda in Ghuwara tehsil of Chhatarpur has filed a complaint against her husband with the SP on Tuesday. The woman accused her in-laws and said that her husband and mother-in-law tortured her for her desire to have a son.

The woman alleges that she had complained about this in the police station, but the police is not taking action. The woman has filed an application in the SP office pleading for justice. The SP has instructed Mahila Thana police to investigate the matter and take action.
Husband’s behavior changed after daughter’s birth
Pooja Yadav, a resident of Putrikheda in Ghuwara tehsil, was married to Shivpratap Yadav 2 years ago. She became pregnant after 6 months of marriage and gave birth to a daughter after 9 months. According to Pooja, her husband Shivpratap wanted a son and his behavior changed after the birth of a daughter.

After this Shivpratap started talking to some other girl. When Pooja came to know about this, she complained to her mother-in-law Rajabeti. On which Rajabeti scolded Shivpratap. Angered by this, Shiv Pratap first beat her up and then on 4 December at 10:30 pm, Shiv Pratap gave several shocks to Pooja with electric wires on both her cheeks.

The next day Pooja informed her brother over phone. After that the brother took him to Tikamgarh hospital for treatment. After being admitted for 4 days, on December 9, the husband again called and threatened to kill her. Whose woman informed the police station, but the police has not taken any action.
