The school staff of Thaltej area sent the girl to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. In the preliminary investigation, the cause of death of the girl has been said to be cardiac arrest.

School principal Sharmistha Sinha said that after the attack, the staff called 108 ambulance. But, there was a delay in the ambulance reaching the school. Due to this, he was taken to Zydus Hospital in the staff car, but his life could not be saved.

The girl’s parents live in Mumbai

Gargi’s parents live in Mumbai. She lived with her grandparents in Ahmedabad. After the incident, the police reached the school and examined the CCTV footage. The Crime Branch team has also investigated the school. Gargi was completely healthy. Doctors at Zydus Hospital have expressed fear of cardiac arrest. However, the exact cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report.

A similar case came to light yesterday (Thursday) in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. Here at St. Francis School, 8-year-old girl Tejaswini got up from her seat in the classroom to show her copy to the teacher, and fainted. To support herself, Tejaswini took support of the wall but fell on the ground. The school people immediately admitted him to the hospital. But the doctors declared him dead. Here too, doctors have stated cardiac arrest as the probable cause of the girl’s death.
