On the call of Bihar State Employees Union, the judicial staff of Samastipur Civil Court will go on strike from January 16 with their various demands.

The decision to go on strike was taken by the local branch officials after a meeting late on Monday evening. The court employees held a meeting in the Durga Temple complex located in the court premises and decided to go on strike. The meeting was presided over by Mohan Kumar Sinha.

During the meeting, the members said that for a long time the union had been appealing to the government regarding its demands but the government did not listen to their requests and now strike is the only option. Giving information after the meeting, Secretary of the organization Tarakeshwar Singh said that the judicial personnel have been placing their demands before the government for a long time. But their demands are being ignored.

Among the main demands, apart from 100% timely promotion of Class IV and III judicial employees, the salary discrepancy should be removed immediately. Restoration should be done as soon as possible on 100 percent compassionate basis. Special cadre should be implemented for court employees.

Demands from the organization have been placed before the government several times. But their demands have not been fulfilled yet by the government. For this reason, the organization has decided that if the government does not fulfill their demands by January 15, then the court employees will boycott the work from January 16. The members said that the Bihar government is adopting a step-motherly attitude towards the court employees, due to which the problem of the employees remains the same.
Apart from Sachin Tarakeshwar Singh, a large number of court employees including Parmanand Jha, Ravi Kumar Dubey, Vinay Bhandari, Shishir Kumar, Amit Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Rajeev Kumar, Anwar Hussain, Abha Kumari participated in this meeting.
