On Tuesday, a large number of owners and drivers of goods vehicles reached the Collectorate and surrounded the District Transport Office in Sheikhpura over the alleged arbitrariness of the Transport Department. Also raised slogans loudly.

On this occasion, the operators of goods carrying vehicles said that the District Transport Department and the Motor Vehicle Officer are arbitrarily harassing them. Fines ranging from Rs 25 to Rs 40,000 are being levied against them for alleged overloading while carrying goods.
Saurav Kumar, Subhash Kumar, Shubham Kumar, Nitish Paswan, Kundan Verma, Ashok Yadav, Sunny Raj, Dharmendra Kumar, Sandeep Raut, Gobind Kumar etc., who are leading this movement of motor vehicle drivers, said that Jugaad vehicles are being used unnecessarily in the district. And passenger carrying vehicles are loading more material than autos. But no one is going to stop them. Whereas the strictness on these people is increasing.
These people told that they have gathered here to meet the District Transport Officer and demand to be polite in this matter and to take strict action against the vehicles which are not licensed to carry goods.
