Disabled children go on Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh tour 243 children of Mamta Mandir School, run by Vidya Mandir, Palanpur, Gujarat, reached Chittorgarh along with 55 of its staff. All these children are disabled. These include deaf, blind, mentally disabled and handicapped children. On Monday, 125 informant children had come along with 27 staff. Whereas on the second day, 118 children came to Chittorgarh along with 28 staff. All the children are being taken on an educational tour of 5 nights and 6 days by Mamta Mandir School. These children are taken on educational tours to different places every year.
The journey started from Kumbhalgarh Director of Mamta Mandir School, Dr. Atin Bhai Joshi told that his journey started from Kumbhalgarh. After this, Shri Sanwaliyaji reached Chittorgarh via Udaipur. From Chittorgarh, all the children will again reach Palanpur in Gujarat via Ujjain, Indore, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Mandav, Mohankheda, Dakot. He said that earlier in the year 2024 the children were taken to Saurashtra. Vaishno Devi and Patnitop in the year 2023, Bengaluru, Mysore, Ooty in the year 2022, Kanyakumari in the year 2021.

The food here was the best. Apart from this, the City Palace of Udaipur also looked very beautiful. The children told through gestures through their teachers that they felt very happy to know about the war of the kings and emperors here and the devotion of Mirabai. Teachers said that the children were very curious to know about history, hence they tried to know everything with great concentration.

Whenever any order is given to them, they fulfill it. Listen to everyone. They have amazing enthusiasm. There is curiosity to learn a lot. Before bringing them here, I had come and seen all the arrangements on 4th December, so that no one would face any problem after the arrival of the children. Children will make different projects based on what they learn from this tour. He told that there is a bond of affection between us and him. These children consider us more than their parents. One easily forms an attachment with them within a few days. This tour includes children from 1st class to 12th class.

Joshi told that I had to do something for the disabled children from the beginning, but I did not know at that time that there is a separate school for these children. When I came to know about this, I completed my studies on this subject. After leaving here, many children are working at good posts. Along with us, there is a boy named Vinod Suthar who earlier used to study in school. He is also deaf and dumb. His drawing is very good. Has also won the National Award. His painting was done by M.F. Hussain has also taken it. Today the same boy is also a teacher in our school. He wished he could help many children like him. So he started teaching here. This tour is completely free.
