The resolution plan is likely to be approved by NCLT soon.
How will the KSK deal be funded, will internal accruals be enough?
On this he said that the company will raise the money through internal approval. The company will have 6 units of 600 MW each in KSK Mahanadi.

How are Power Purchase Agreements going, especially towards the thermal power segment?
Sharad Mahendra said that the power demand growth across the country is very strong. Power demand growth is possible at 6.5% in the current year. Last year there was a demand of 1625 Bn units. Considering the demand, a new 25 GW may be required every year. We believe that 80 GW of thermal power will be required by 2030. There is continuous capacity expansion in renewable energy. We will achieve 500 GW green energy target by 2030
What are the plans to increase thermal power and solar power capacity in the next 12-18 months?
On the question of capacity expansion, Sharad said that the company aims to increase the total capacity to 20 GW by FY30. After KSK, the total capacity will be 28.2 GW by 2030. The target of 10 GW capacity will be achieved in the current year. There will be an emphasis on increasing capacity through several power purchase agreements.
At 1.13 pm today, JSW Energy stock was seen trading at Rs 559.60, up 2.14 percent or Rs 11.75.
