“I feel grateful to have got the opportunity to take a dip in the holy water. I cannot express in words the feeling of completeness that has arisen in me,” she told PTI. “When I planned my trip to India, I didn’t know about the Mahakumbh. But once I learned about it, I knew I had to come here,” Meloni told PTI. “To meet and see this vibrant fair is a once in a lifetime experience.” The Uttar Pradesh government expects a total of 40 to 45 crore devotees, including foreign visitors, to attend the Maha Kumbh.
