Maha Kumbh 2025: To make the Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj from January 13 safe and convenient, the Uttar Pradesh government has planned to issue e-passes in 6 colors. This step has been taken on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, so that the devotees coming to the fair do not face any kind of problem. These e-passes will be for different categories like VVIP, police, media, and essential services. This will help in handling the crowd and traffic in the fair in a better way. With the e-pass system, the system will be transparent and simple, so that everyone will get the facilities easily.
With this initiative of Yogi government, lakhs of devotees coming to Mahakumbh will get a safe and memorable experience. The Mahakumbh of 2025 is all set to make the journey of the devotees smooth and special with new technology and schemes.
How many colors will the e-pass be in?
Keeping in mind the facilities of the devotees in Mahakumbh, different colored e-passes will be issued for different categories. White color e-pass will be issued for High Court, VIP, foreign ambassadors, foreign citizens and NRIs. At the same time, saffron colored e-pass will be issued for Akharas and institutions.
Apart from this, there will be yellow colored e-pass for institutions, vendors, food courts and milk booths. Whereas blue colored e-pass will be issued for media, blue for police force and red for emergency services.
Vehicle parking and other arrangements
All necessary arrangements have been made under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the safety of the devotees during Mahakumbh. The fair authority has ensured vehicle parking arrangements in all sectors. E-pass system will be implemented for vehicles. Passes for vehicles will be issued through the nodal officer of each department. To run the e-pass system smoothly, the help of Uttar Pradesh’s nodal IT organization ‘UPDesco’ will be taken. Nodal officers of departments and institutions will scrutinize and approve the passes as per the decided quota.
Application Process and Required Documents
While applying for e-pass, the applicant will have to provide some important documents. These will include personal details, colored passport photo, Aadhar card or PAN card, vehicle registration certificate and copy of driving license. E-passes approved under the e-pass process will be given from the Mela Police Office only. Nodal officers of various departments and executing agencies will ensure that the work of issuing e-passes is done properly and the passes of each category are verified.
