Operation Sindoor LIVE Updates: The tension between India and Pakistan is continuously increasing. According to the Indian Ministry of Defense, the military stations in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur were attacked with Pakistani drones and missiles on Thursday, which India thwarted.
On the next day of Operation Sindoor i.e. 7-8 May, Pakistan tried to attack 15 military bases in India. But India’s defense system thwarted this attack. The Ministry of Defense issued a statement stating that an attempt was made by Pakistan on 15 cities in India, which was completely thwarted by the Indian Air Force and the S-400 air defense system.
Earlier, India had targeted 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan authorized Kashmir. India had carried out air strikes on these terrorist camps. India took this action after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Operation Sindoor: Rajasthan Chief Minister review meeting
In view of Operation Sindoor, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a review meeting with officials regarding international border security. In the meeting, the CM instructed the officers to cooperate with the army on priority, ensure immediate availability of necessary resources and to keep the security system strong in the border areas.

More than 8000 accounts were blocked on the orders of the Government of India: X
The social media platform X said on Thursday that it has blocked more than 8,000 accounts in India after the executive orders of the Government of India.
The company said that in many cases, no evidence or justification was given for restrictions, and faced threats of “potential punishment, including heavy fines and imprisonment on local employees of the company”.
The statement said, “To follow the orders, we will only stop the accounts specified in India … however, we disagree with the demands of the Government of India. Blocking the entire account is not only unnecessary, but it is similar to censorship on current and future content and is contrary to the fundamental right to free speech.”
All school-colleges in Punjab closed for next three days
The Education Minister of Punjab tweeted that all government and private schools, colleges and universities of Punjab will be closed for the next three days.
