Kangana praises India’s air defence amid Pakistani drone attack on Jammu.
Kangana Ranaut took to social media to express strong support for the Indian Armed Forces and the country’s advanced air defence system following a series of drone and missile attacks on Jammu. The aerial attacks, launched by Pakistan, targeted over a dozen locations including the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and military stations in the region on Thursday evening.
The attacks came just a day after India carried out precision strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. However, all incoming threats were intercepted by India’s S-400 air defence system, preventing any damage or casualties.
Reacting to the incident, Kangana wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Jammu on target! Indian Air Defence neutralises Pakistan drone in #Jammu. Stay strong #Jammu.”
She further praised the defence system by saying, “Our Sudarshan Chakra — the S-400 Air Defence System — demolished the Pakistani air attack! Among the world’s most powerful defence technologies, the S-400 deal was signed by PM Narendra Modi’s govt with Russia in 2018. #OperationSindoor.”
According to a statement by the Integrated Defence Staff, “Military Stations of Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur in proximity to the International Boundary, in Jammu & Kashmir targeted by Pakistan using missiles and drones. No losses. Threat neutralised by Indian Armed Forces as per SoP with kinetic and non-kinetic means.”
Earlier in the day, Kangana had also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and Operation Sindoor. In a quote to news agency ANI, she said, “Country is in a war and we are all nervous. Our security forces protect us, may God protect them…PM Modi named this operation as Operation Sindoor. At the sight of our mothers and daughters, their husbands were gunned down…those deaths are being avenged.”
She concluded with a message for the Armed Forces: “Jo Humari Raksha Kare Hain, Ishwar Unki Raksha Kare. Wishing our forces safety and success.
