Actress Rashmika Mandanna has launched her own fragrance brand. Its name is Dear Diary. This brand is inspired by the memories of the childhood of Mandana’s childhood. She grew up in the Courge of Karnataka. Global perfume markets of $ 50 billion have seen an increase in the number of celebrities brands, but the brands associated with Indian sensations are rare. In such a situation, the dear diary is a well thought out initiative.

The initial collection of the brand consists of three Fragrances- National Crush, Irriplesable and Controversial. They have been prepared from Indian ingredients such as pink lotus, jasmine i.e. Jasmine, Sugarcane, Litchi and Passion Fruit. The price of a 10 ml bottle of perfume is ₹ 599, 100 ml bottle is priced at ₹ 2,599 and a curated frozen set (The Lollipop set) is priced at ₹ 1,599. This range is exclusively available on the brand website.

‘Had to make something that is not just one st …’

Rashmika Mandana said to Zenia Baria of CNBC-TV18, “The Indian market lacks such desi faragers that include true feelings. I wanted to make something that is not just a st, but a story.” It also said, “The fragrance of the first rain on the soil, the coffee flowers, the sun-dryed legumes- these frores are part of my personality. Even today the smell of coffee takes me to the old memories. These are not just old memories. It is a feeling.”

It has taken 2 years to make a dear diary. It has been developed in partnership with The PCA companies in New York. According to Rashmika, “perfume is personal. And I wanted this brand to look like a page of one’s life-Raw and reflective.”
