    CPCL deficit ₹ 57 crore in Q1, 8% declines in revenue - CPCL Q1 Loss at Rs 57 Crore Revenue Down 8 Percent Yoy


    Chennai Petroleum Corporation LTD (CPCL) recorded a loss of ₹ 57 crore after tax for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, while a net profit of ₹ 343 crore was made after tax in the same period last year. Revenue from the operation was ₹ 18,683 crore, which is less than ₹ 20,361 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

    CPCL achieved 2.981 million metric tonnes (MMT) crude oil throoput for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to 2.830 mmt in the same quarter of the last financial year. The use of capacity was 114 percent. The company also recorded its best distilled yield of about 80 percent of the energy and excelled on the energy front, reflecting continuous operational efficiency.
