Hindustan Copper LTD (HCL) has announced to promote several officers from July 1, 2024 to senior management posts. These promotions approved on 25 July 2025 include appointments in various units and departments of the company.
Promoted officials do not belong to any chief managerial personnel or director and their relatives of the promoted Hindustan Copper.
The promotion is presented for information and records according to the Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Promotion details:
- Mr. Abhimanyu Singh: Ed and Unit Head, Taloja Copper Project (TCP) and Gujarat Copper Project (GCP) promoted.
- Mr. Binod Kumar Gupta: ED (Mining), promoted to the post of Corporate Office (CO).
- Shri Ravindra Prabhakar Ghatuwar: GM (Mining), promoted to the post of Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP).
- Mr. Praveen Dave: GM (Mining), promoted to the post of Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP).
- Mr. Deepak Srivastava: GM (mech.)- Promoted to the post of Projects, Indian Copper Complex (ICC).
- Mr. Rajendra Singh Sajwan: GM (HR), promoted to the post of Corporate Office (CO).

- Mr. Abhimanyu Singh:
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- In 1991, HCL joined Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical).
- Widespread experience of mechanical maintenance and erection of turny projects at Indian Copper Complex, Ghatshila.
- Gujarat Copper Project from 2020 and Unit Head of Taloja Copper Project from 2022.
- Connected in the Continuous Cast Rod (CCR) production process actively involved.
- Mr. Binod Kumar Gupta:
- B.B. in Mining Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad (now IIT-Im, Dhanbad) Take.
- Executive Business Management Program from IIM Calcutta and PGDBM (Marketing Management) from IGNOU, New Delhi.
- 28 years experience in metal and mining industry.
- Joined HCL in 2014, currently leading the corporate resource planning department.
- Hatch (India), Tata Metaliks Ltd., Hindalco Industries Ltd. And worked in MNC including big companies like Chaugula and Company Limited.
- Experience of all aspects of metal and mining projects, ie from the initial concept of development to commissioning.
- Shri Ravindra Prabhakar Ghatuwar:
- Mining engineer and first class mine manager certificate holder (U/R).
- Joined HCL on 23.06.2012 and the mining industry has more than 30 years of experience.
- Moil ltd. I held positions in several organizations including 12 years of tenure.
- Posted in Malanjkhand Unit since 2016.
- Mr. Praveen Dave:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur (1992 batch).
- Under the Mines Mineral Regulation (MMR) Act, 1961, first class manager’s qualification certificate (limited to opencast working) and second class manager’s qualification certificate (unrestricted).
- On October 19, 1992, Graduate Engineer joined HCL as Trainee (Mining).
- Working in GSHL, Nigeria between 20.05.2005 and 10.07.2006.
- Malanjkhand held various major positions in the copper project.
- Mr. Deepak Srivastava:
- GEC graduated from Ujjain in BE (Mechanical) in 1987 and MBA-Marketing from Barkat Ullah University in 1995.
- In 2011, ICC-Ghatshila joined HCL as AGM (Projects).
- About 37 years of experience in projects, process and mining industry.
- Currently employed in ICC, which is taking care of various activities of underground mines and benivisation plants.
- Mr. Rajendra Singh Sajwan:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science and Master Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Institute of Social Sciences, Agra.
- In 2013, Hindustan joined Copper Limited.
- In the corporate office, the major HR leadership served as the head of HR in the leadership positions and the Khetri Copper Complex (KCC).
- Singrauli, served as a manager (personnel) in Coal India Limited in Madhya Pradesh.
- Career experience of over 32 years since 1993.
