When it rains, snakes come out of their bills because their hiding places are filled with water. This view is seen not only in India but also in countries like America.
Although there are not very dangerous snakes in America, poisonous snakes are found in North, Central and South America. Many species of snakes are found especially in states like Texas and Florida.
Common snakes found in America
Garter snake
They are thin and stripes. Wet areas such as gardens or lakes are found. They are not very dangerous for humans and are also beneficial by eating pests like rats, frogs.
Ratalsnek
On the end of their tail, there is a bell -like rattles, which indicates danger. They are poisonous and are usually found in desert and hilly areas. There is no danger of life due to their bite when treatment is given in time.
Their color is like copper and is mostly found in eastern America. They are not very aggressive and stop in danger that means ‘freeze’. Their poison can be serious, but is less deadly.
King snake
They are not poisonous and eat other snakes. They have black, yellow and red strips in their appearance. They are found in many types of environment and are considered beneficial for humans.
Coral snake
They have red, yellow and black strips on their body. They are very poisonous but look less due to calm nature. There is a saying: “Red Touch Yellow, Kill a Fellow – Red Touch Black, Venom Lack” which makes it easier.
They are also called water mockasin. These are mostly found in wet areas of southeastern America. When the danger is felt, they show the white part of your mouth. Their poison can be serious.
