The initial investigation report of the Air India aircraft accident is expected to come by 11 July. At least 270 people were killed in the accident, including 241 people aboard the aircraft. This document, which will probably be four to five pages long, will be quite important because with the help of this, it will be initially known how and why this aircraft crashed. Possible causes of accidents will also be revealed in this. Sources said that the report will include Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 aircraft, its crew, the status of Ahmedabad Airport and the weather of June 12. On the same day, Air India flight AI 171 crashed about 30 seconds after flying.
In the media report, sources were quoted as saying that in this report, after the accident, complete information about the debris found from the spot will also be named as well as the names of those who were Chancers. Where the investigation in the document reached, what steps will be taken further and those areas will also be told, which are to be investigated further.
According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines, India has to file an initial report within 30 days of the accident.
So far, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has released two updates on June 19 and June 26, which confirmed the recovery of both black boxes. One of these devices successfully access the memory module and download the data on 25 June.
Recently, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol said that all aspects including conspiracy are being investigated in this accident.
He said, “This was an unfortunate incident. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau of Investigation (AAIB) has started a thorough investigation … It is being investigated with all aspects, including any possible conspiracy. CCTV footage is being reviewed and all angles are being assessed … Many agencies are working on it.”
