You can get in the circle of appearance! Experts warned on water fasting to be slim - Starving to get Slim Water Only Fasting Trend May Be Burning More Than Just Fat Experts Warn in Revealing Study

Water-only fasting: While scrolling the post of fitness influencer on social media, you must have heard many great things about the benefits of water-only fasting. Due to this rapid weight loss and being mentally healthy, many claims are made. However, through new research, experts have warned that it can have many dangerous consequences.

Water fasting involves avoiding all food and beverages except water. This is usually done for 1 to 3 days. Its popularity has increased greatly among those looking for ways to lose weight loss, but health experts have advised to take precautions about it. According to a study in Science Alert and AOL, an experiment was done about it. The weight of the participants involved decreased but this fasting also triggered many worrying physical reactions.

Tiger can be triggered by chronic diseases

The people involved in this experiment would make that its short -term side effects included headaches, low blood pressure and sleepless sleep. But what was found in the blood test of the participants gave even more worrying indications. The study saw stunning growth in inflammatory proteins, such as C-Reactive Protein (CRP) and Interlucin-8 (IL-8), showing that instead of comforting the body’s immune system, water fasting can actually trigger it.

This is important because inflammation plays an important role in many chronic diseases such as heart disease and development of autoimmune. “While acute inflammatory response during prolonged fasting can serve as a transient adaptation mechanism during prolonged fasting, it increases concerns about potential cardiometabolic effects that may persist even after starting food again.”

Muscle problem and risk of losing memory

Apart from inflammation, researchers also found a decrease in the protein connecting muscles and bones. This poses a risk of muscle problems in the long term. In the test, the level of amylaid beta which is associated with Alzheimer’s disease also collapsed in the test which can cause memory risk. The results from this experiment have increased the concern of the people. Experts recommend that any type of prolonged fast should be done only under medical supervision.
