Amazon India Jobs: Veteran American e-commerce company Amazon is soon going to give jobs to a large number of Indian people. Amazon India has announced more than 1,50,000 jobs at its Fulfillment Centers (FC), Sort Centers and Last-Mile delivery stations before the festive season on Monday (August 18). This is the time in which e-commerce companies start selling largely. Thousands of direct and indirect jobs are created for workers in Amazon India every year during the major festival season like Diwali.
Abhinav Singh, Vice President of Operations in Amazon’s India and Australia, said, “In this festive season, we are focused on providing quick and reliable delivery to customers on every servicable pin code across India. To achieve this, we have expanded our fullfillment and logistics network with more than 1,50,000 additional people. People return to work with us during the annual festive season. “
He further said, “Whether it is in Fulfillment Centers or on delivery routes, the company prioritizes the safety and goodness of all colleagues.” Manisha Singh, a colleague working at Amazon’s Bengaluru FC, told reporters that the focus on the company’s security gave her confidence while working in the operations network. The e-commerce company has said that more than 400 cities have been born in more than 400 cities including Raipur, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Ranchi and Jalgaon.
