
During the opposition rally in Bihar, a person accused of raising abusive slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother was arrested on Thursday night. Senior Superintendent of Police of Darbhanga gave this information on Friday. The man named Rizvi alias Raja was arrested after the video, in which the accused was allegedly seen abusing Prime Minister Modi during the public meeting of India block. He hails from Bhapura village in Sinhawada.
During Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra, a big controversy arose in the state after the video of Prime Minister Modi and his late mother abusively surfaced.
The BJP has filed a complaint at Patna’s Kotwali police station and demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
In the video, Congress workers are shown using abusive language against the Prime Minister from the poster lazed platform of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. This was the same place from where these leaders left for Muzaffarpur.
NDA leaders condemned abusive words against PM Modi
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took cognizance of the incident and condemned the “derogatory language”.
Nitish Kumar tweeted, “The kind of indecent language used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother from the platform of Congress and RJD during the Voter Adhikar Yatra is extremely inappropriate and I condemn it.”
BJP leaders strongly condemned this derogatory remarks towards the Prime Minister and asked the Congress and RJD to apologize for this insult.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday, “He (Prime Minister Modi) is now the most popular leader in the world. This indecent language is an insult to 140 crore Indians from the platform of India block. The people of Bihar will give him a befitting reply. No civil society can accept such a language. Congress and RJD leaders should apologize for this.”
