Param (Siddharth Malhotra) is a rich and slightly impaired boy from Delhi, who likes to invest money in startups. But so far all his startups have failed badly, and his father (Sanjay Kapoor) is now tired of his idea of his careless.
But Param’s stubbornness raises the head again –This time her idea is an app that seeks people’s “solmet” according to their profiles and behavior patterns. Her father is ready to pay for the last time on a condition – If Param himself finds your sols through that app and prove that this app really works.
Just then, through the matching system of the app, Param gets a match with a girl from Kerala, Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor). Sundari is a simplicity full of simplicity, strong thinking and a girl associated with her rites. Param himself goes to Kerala, to know, understand and decide if this app can really understand ‘Dil Ki Baat’.
Siddharth and Janhvi’s pair looks absolutely fresh on screen. Siddharth Malhotra’s casual attitude, light phulka humor and truth in emotional scenes –Everything is in great balance. At the same time, Janhvi Kapoor’s character is very graceful. She is neither showing nor overdramatic –Rather, there is a stagnation in his acting, which depths the story.

Sanjay Kapoor has given a lot of fun in the role of father. His dialogues also have satire and love too. Manjot Singh brings comedy dose as usual. Director Tushar Jalota has introduced the film in a plain but effective tone without any melodrama. The pace of the film is balanced-even boredom does not feel boredom. Two world of film –Delhi’s dazzle and Kerala’s greenery – Despite being contrary to each other, the story has been beautifully torn down. The rivers, temples, houses and local tones of Kerala seems something real, like we are also there.
Param’s stylish outfits and the metro lifestyle of Delhi clearly describes his personality, while Sundari’s saris, their simple life and calm behavior show their relationship with Kerala’s soil.
The songs of the film push the story forward, not imposed. Even before the release of the film, the songs of the film made their place in the hearts of the audience. “Pardesia” “wet saree” “Chand Kagaz Ka” and “Sun Mere Yaar Way” are all very good. “Sundari Ke Pyaar Mein” has already become a chartbuster.
