Fractal Analytics IPO: The company providing Artificial Intelligence and Analytics Services, Fractal Analytics wants to raise Rs 4900 crore through its IPO. The company has submitted draft papers with the Capital Market Regulator SEBI for IPO. New shares worth Rs 1279.3 crore will be issued in IPO. Also, the offer of Rs 3620.7 crore will be offered for Sale (O.S). Quinag Bidco will sell shares worth Rs 1462.6 crore in OSS. TPG Fate Holdings will sell shares worth Rs 1999.6 crore.
Factal Analytics is India’s first AI unicorn startup. Unicorn means the valuation to $ 1 billion or more. Fractor Analytics was started by 5 graduates from IIM, Ahmedabad in the year 2000. The company supports large global enterprises in many industry verticals and business functions, with data-driving insights. Also helps in deciding through end to and AI solutions.
Unicorn status found in 2022
In 2022, the valuation of this startup exceeded 1 billion dollars. 3 of the founders have left this startup. Srikanth is among the remaining two co-founders, Srikanth Velkamni Holtime Director, Group CEO and Executive Vice Chairman. Prannoy Aggarwal is a non -executive director and CEO of Fractal USA. Both have about 10–10 percent stake. They are not selling shares in IPO. The company has money from big investors like TPG, Appex, Gaja.
About 75 percent of the IPO has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 15 percent for non-institutional investors (NII) and the remaining 10 percent for retail investors. Also, some part is reserved for eligible employees.
How to use IPO money
Fractal Analytics will use the money received by releasing new shares in its IPO, mainly to invest in the subsidiary USA. This is so that borrowings can be paid and new offices can be opened in India. Apart from this, funds will also be used for research and development, marketing under fructal alpha, and potential acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
The revenue of fructal analytics increased by 25.9 percent to Rs 2765 crore in FY 2025. It was Rs 2196 crore in FY 2024. Pure profits were Rs 220.6 crore. In FY 2024, the company was at a loss of Rs 54.7 crore. Kotak Mahindra Capital for IPO, Morgan Stanley India Company, Axis Capital and Goldman Sachs (India) Securities, Book Running Lead Manager.
