Eternal Ltd (earlier known as Zomato Limited) has informed about the Goods and Services Tax (GST) demand and equal fine for the period from April 2020 to March 2021. The order was issued by the Deputy Commissioner of the State Tax in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on August 19, 2025.
This information is in accordance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 Regulation 30.
Information about GST demand and fine is as follows:
The order was passed under Section 74 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Demand order, tax collection at source and low payment of output tax at source include interest and fine applicable to it.
Eternal Ltd believes that she has a strong case and intends to file an appeal against the order before the appropriate authority.
