Highway Infra IPO Listing: The shares of Infrastructure Development and Management Company Highway Infra were made in the domestic market today. Its IPO also received the in investors’ Dhansu Response and overall it received more than 316 times bid. Shares have been issued at a price of ₹ 70 under IPO. Today, it has entered ₹ 117.00 on BSE at ₹ 117.00 and ₹ 115.00 on NSE i.e. IPO investors got a listing gain of up to 67%. Share and climb up after listing. It jumped up to the upper circuit of ₹ 122.84 (Highway Infra Share Price) on BSE and was closed on it i.e. at the end of the first trading day, IPO investors are in 75.49% profit.

How will the money of highway infra IPO be spent

Highway Infra’s ₹ 130.00 crore IPO was opened for subscription till 5-7 August. This IPO received tremendous response from investors and overall it was subscribed to 316.64 times. It had 432.71 times reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB), 473.10 times the share of non-institutional investors (NII) and 164.48 times the share of retail investors. Under this IPO, new shares of ₹ 97.52 crore have been issued. Apart from this, 46.40 lakh shares with face value of ₹ 5 have been sold under offer for sale window. The offer for sale money has been received by shareholders selling share. At the same time, ₹ 65.00 crore working capital needs and the rest of the money will be spent on common corporate objectives.

About highway infrastructure

The highway infrastructure built in 1995 is an infrastructure development and management company. It works as a tollway collection, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Projects and Real Assets Development. It builds roads, highways, bridges and houses and handles their maintenance work. Apart from this, it gets highway projects through Nilani under the tollway collection business, on which it handles the tollway collection system. It is one of the few toll operators that use ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) technology for tollway collection. Its toll collection business is running in 11 states of the country including Delhi-Meerut Expressway and 1 union territory. By August 2024, the company had completed 24 tollway collection projects and 7 projects are currently underway. Now, talking about EPC Infra Projects, according to data till August 2024, it has completed 63 EPC projects, and 20 projects are currently underway. Talking about real estate, it is a small part of the company’s business.

Talking about the financial health of the company, it has been strongly strengthened. In FY 2023, it made a net profit of ₹ 13.80 crore, which jumped in the next financial year 2024 to ₹ 21.41 crore and ₹ 22.40 crore in FY 2025. During this period, the company’s total income increased to ₹ 504.48 crore from a compound rate (CAGR) of more than 5% annually. However, during this period, the loan on the company also increased continuously, which increased from ₹ 63.36 crore in the end of FY 2023 and ₹ 69.62 crore in the last of FY 2024 to ₹ 71.82 crore in the last of FY 2025.
