Stray Dog Row: In Kavi Nagar area of Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, a fiery woman Daroga died late on Sunday (August 17) after being hit by a car. The female sub-inspector fell from her two-wheeler in an attempt to save a stray dog. She was returning to her room by doing duty. During this time, a dog suddenly came in front of him, so that she lost the balance. The bullet collided with the dog and the policeman fell on the road. Then the car coming from behind crushed him. She lived in a rented house in Mahindra Enclave in Ghaziabad.

Sachan’s first deployment was at Kavi Nagar police station. Police sources said that 25 -year -old Daroga Richa Sachan, posted at Shastri Nagar Chowki of Kavi Nagar police station, was returning home by motorcycle after finishing her duty at around 2 pm on August 17/18. On the way, his car collided with a dog, which deteriorated his balance. Then she fell on the road. Meanwhile, a car coming from behind crushed him.

Kavi Nagar Assistant Police Commissioner Bhaskar Verma said that the news agency PTI said that the policemen who arrived on the spot on receiving the information took the seriously injured Daroga to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Richa, a native of Kanpur, was admitted to the post of Daroga in 2023. She was taking charge of Shastri Nagar Chowki. She was also preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. Verma said that Daroga was given a guard of honor in the Ghaziabad police line. The post -mortem of the body has been handed over to the family members.

This accident occurred at a time when animal lovers are protesting against the Supreme Court’s decision to catch stray dogs and send them to shelter homes. The activists have said that they will be adamant on demanding their order to send stray dogs to the shelter home from the Supreme Court.

A bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan had said that the entire problem has arisen due to inaction of local bodies. However, the apex court has reserved the verdict on a petition requesting a request to stop parts of its 11 August guidelines.

Two children injured in dog attacks

Meanwhile, separate incidents of injuries of two children were reported in the attack of stray dogs in Rajasthan. Police said that a five -year -old child was attacked by stray dogs in Udaipur on Sunday evening while he was playing near the house. In CCTV footage, stray dogs are seen slapping and dragging the child on the ground. Hearing the shouts of the child, his mother ran and drove the dogs and saved him.

Local people have expressed concern over the increasing attacks of stray dogs in the city. About two months ago, in a similar incident, an eight -year -old child was attacked by stray dogs in another residential colony in Udaipur. At the same time, stray dogs attacked Yogesh of eight years in Alwar district on Monday. Police said that the child has had many deep wounds on almost the entire body including the child’s neck, face, back, hip, thigh, arms, feet and stomach.
