TMC's Mithali Bagh accused of attacking Kiren Rijiju and Ravneet Bittu! BJP MP said- this is not my culture

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Wednesday alleged that Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Ravneet Singh Bittu “assaulted” his female MPs in the Lok Sabha. TMC Lok Sabha MP Mithali Bagh while speaking to the news agency ANI alleged, “When we were opposing the bill, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu and Kiren Rijiju attacked me, they pushed me … it’s condemnable.”

All this happened when Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three bills to propose the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers who have been in jail for 30 consecutive days in the Lok Sabha.

When Amit Shah introduced these bills, the opposition strongly opposed. He described them as rigorous and oppressive laws and shouted slogans.

Speaking to CNN-NEWS18, sources claimed that no evidence including CCTV footage proves that the ruling party members Kiren Rijiju and Ravneet Singh Bittu pushed TMC MPs.

Sources said, “No such footage has been revealed to know that the ruling party MPs had pushed the Trinamool MPs.”

Not pushing anyone is not my culture: Bittu

At the same time, BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu dismissed the allegation outright and said, “It is not my culture to push anyone. I want to ask the Trinamool Congress that who is teaching them all this? Is Mamata Banerjee?”

Speaking to CNN-NEWS18, he said, “My family has sacrificed his life for the country and I do not belong to a political ideology where women are insulted.”

Challenging Bittu said, “I challenge the Trinamool Congress to come out of Parliament and fight me, and I am sure they will not win.”
