Had to take a revenge of old enmity with a friend! Why noida person threatened to blow up Mumbai, revealed

Ashwini Kumar, a resident of Noida, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police. He is accused of threatening a serial blast in Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi. According to the report, Ashwini actually wanted to take revenge on his old friend, who had sent him to jail first. For this reason, he planned to threaten to blow up Mumbai. Kumar is originally from Patna. He came to Noida about five years ago and came here and started astrology work.

Why sent a threatening message to Mumbai Police?

According to a Times of India report, in 2023, Kumar’s friend Feroz Ahmed filed a case of cheating against him at Phulwari Sharif police station in Bihar. In this case, Kumar had to stay in jail for four months.

Due to going to jail, he sat deep enmity with Ahmed and he started looking for a chance to take revenge. For this reason, he planned to threaten the Mumbai blasts.

As part of his plan, Kumar sent a threatening message to the traffic control room in Mumbai on Thursday. He also put his friend’s name in this Whatsapp message.

In the message, Kumar wrote that 34 live bombs have been planted in Mumbai and 14 Pakistani terrorists have entered. Not only this, he also used a fictional name ‘Lashkar-e-Jihadi’, so that it felt that a terrorist organization is involved.

Kumar sent a threatening message from the number he recently bought. He also put the display picture (DP) of his friend Ahmed on Whatsapp, so that the suspicion would go on him.

Because at that time the celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi were going on, the police immediately declared a high alert and deployed the Crime Branch along with the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).

Police arrested accused

According to the report, when the police traced the threatening message, it reached Noida. After this, Mumbai Police approached Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh.

On Friday night, a special team from Mumbai and the Noida Police together raided Kumar’s house at Sivitech Stadia Society in Sector-79. Police recovered 7 mobile phones, 3 SIM cards, an external SIM slot device, 6 memory cards and 4 SIM holders from here. All of them used to hide their identity.

Police said that Kumar has no relation with any terrorist organization. A senior official said in the report, “He just wanted his friend to go to jail.”
