JNVST Admission 2026: This is a good news for the students and their parents who want to take admission in class 9th and 11th in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVST). The last date for registration for admission in the academic session 2026 has been extended. For this, parents of students can do online registration through the official website. To register they have to visit cbseitms.nic.in. Registration for admission to JNVST can now be done till 21 October 2025. Interested and eligible students can register for admission to class 9th and 11th by visiting the official website cbseitms.nic.in.
You will get a chance only after passing the entrance exam
Students have to pass the entrance examination for admission to these classes in JNVST. It will be organized on 7 February 2026. This exam will be held from 11 am to 01.30 am. While registering for JNVST admission in class 9th and 11th, students will have to upload some important documents like original photo ID, photograph, signature, parent’s signature and educational marksheet etc. Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be done on the basis of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
Exam pattern released
Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in class 9th and 11th will be on the basis of written examination. The exam pattern for this has been released. The duration of NVS Entrance Exam 2025 will be of 2.30 hours, with additional 50 minutes given to students with disabilities. There will be 100 objective type questions in the exam.

Keep in mind that during the application, 10 KB to 100 KB size photos of the following documents will have to be uploaded in JPG format.
Photograph, signature of parents, signature of student, Aadhaar card information. The certificate with the details of the student should be attested by the Headmaster.
