An important incident has taken place in Baramati of Pune district of Maharashtra. The Sharad Chandra Pawar Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence was inaugurated here. The entire Pawar family (Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar and Supriya Sule) were seen together on the occasion. The center is funded by the Gautam Adani-led Adani Group, which will operate under the Pawar family’s educational institution ‘Vidya Pratisthan’.
Supriya Sule calls Gautam Adani ‘big brother’
Addressing the event, MP Supriya Sule spoke about her 30-year-old family relationship with Gautam Adani. He said:
- “Gautam Bhai is like my elder brother.”
- He praised Preity Adani’s courage and Gautam Adani’s struggles in the early days.
- Sule added that in this relationship there is sometimes scolding and also a lot of love.
Sharad Pawar calls Adani struggle ‘inspiration’ for youth
NCP (SP) Chief Sharad Pawar But Gautam openly praised Adani. Referring to Adani’s personal life, he said:
- Gautam Adani moved to Mumbai from the drought-prone Banaskantha district of Gujarat and built his business from scratch.
- Adani’s journey is an inspiration for hard working youth.
- Today Adani’s business is spread across 23 states of the country.
Gautam Adani calls Sharad Pawar a ‘mentor’
In his address By Gautam Adani Expressing respect towards Sharad Pawar, he called him his ‘mentor’. Adani said:
- “I am fortunate to have known Pawar sahib for three decades. I am deeply impressed by his wisdom and compassion.”
- He called Baramati a model of development and praised Pawar’s visionary leadership.
Political contradictions and friendly relations
It may be noted that Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, is constantly targeting Gautam Adani. Sharad Pawar is also part of the ‘India’ alliance, which is led by the Congress. However, this friendly relationship and mutual admiration between Sharad Pawar and Adani has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
