Year Ender 2025 : In the year 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi made several foreign trips. There was constant discussion on social media regarding these foreign trips. It is often asked whether PM Modi travels abroad the most or Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
According to statistics, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has traveled abroad eight times this year. He was also accused of breaching security protocols during these visits. Earlier in the year, Rahul Gandhi visited Vietnam for the first time. The visit took place at a time when former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had passed away and the country was observing seven days of mourning. Rahul Gandhi was in Vietnam on December 30. At that time, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat claimed that Rahul Gandhi went to Vietnam to understand a particular economic model.
In March, Rahul Gandhi once again went to Vietnam. He remained on a tour of Vietnam until 17 March. BJP questioned why Rahul Gandhi is going to Vietnam frequently. It may be mentioned that earlier this year CRPF had written a letter to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge regarding Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trip. The letter said that Rahul Gandhi had gone abroad several times without informing him, which could pose a threat to his security.
After Vietnam, Rahul Gandhi stayed in Dubai from April 17 to 23. He visited Qatar from 11 to 18 June. After this he stayed in London from 25 June to 6 July and visited Malaysia from 4 to 8 September. It may be mentioned that on September 26, Rahul Gandhi went on a tour to four South American countries: Brazil, Peru, Chile and Colombia. Meanwhile, he was out of the country for more than two weeks.
Now if we talk about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has traveled abroad 10 times till now in 2025. According to the Prime Minister’s official website, PM Narendra Modi has visited more than 20 countries this year. It may be mentioned that earlier this year, PM Modi was on a tour of France and America from February 10 to 14, where he also met with US President Donald Trump.
Then PM Modi visited Mauritius on March 11 and 12. Between March 15 and April 6, he visited Thailand and Sri Lanka. On April 22, PM Modi reached Saudi Arabia, but had to leave his trip midway after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on the same day.
PM Modi was visiting Canada and Croatia from June 15 to 19. Between July 2 and 9, he traveled to five countries. Meanwhile, PM Modi visited many countries including Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina and Brazil and completed a tour of five countries in just eight days. Around July 23, he was on a trip to UAE and Mauritius.

Then PM Modi visited Japan and China from August 28 to September 1. He visited Bhutan on 11 and 12 November. Recently, PM Modi visited South Africa between November 21 and 23, where he participated in the G-20 Summit.
