ડીસામાં વિવાદિત ગૌશાળાના દબાણ પાલિકા દ્વારા તોડી પડાતા અને બાકીનું દબાણ પણ તોડવાનું અલ્ટીમેટમ આપતાં ગૌસેવકો ગૌશાળા છોડીને જતા રહેતા પાણી અને ઘાસચારા વગર દશથી બાર પશુઓના મોત થયા હોવાની ઘટના સામે આવતા જીવદયાપ્રેમીઓમાં રોષ ફેલાયો છે.
ડીસાની હરીઓમ સ્કૂલ પાછળ હઠીલા હનુમાનજી મંદિર વાળી જમીનમાં 100 બીમાર અને અશક્ત પશુઓની સારવાર થતી હતી અને મકશિહભાઈ દેસાઈ નામના ગૌસેવક એમ્બ્યુલન્સ મારફત બીમાર પશુઓની સેવા કરતા હતા, પંરતું પાલિકાને આ જમીન પર નગરવન બનાવવાનું આયોજન કરીને દબાણ દૂર કરતા પશુઓની હાલત કફોડી બની છે. બે દીવસ અગાઉ પાલિકાની ટીમે પાણીનો અવાડો અને દબાણ દૂર કરી દેતા પશુઓ રજળતા થઈ ગયા છે.
જોકે આ જમીન પરથી ગૌસેવકોને હટી જવાનું જણાવતા ગૌસેવકો ત્યાંથી નીકળી ગયા હતા અને રામભરોસે રહેલા પશુઓમાં દશથી બાર બીમાર પશુઓ ઘાસચારા અને પાણી તેમજ સારવાર વગર મોતને ભેટ્યા હતા. જોકે આ બાબતની જાણ ગૌસેવકોને થતાં તેઓ ગૌશાળા દોડી આવ્યા હતા, પંરતું પાણી અને ઘાસચારો ન હોવાથી શુ કરવું તે મુંજવણમાં મુકાયા હતા.
જોકે પાલિકા દ્વારા દબાણ હટાવ્યા બાદ આ પશુઓને અન્ય જગ્યાએ ખસેડવા જરૂરી હતા અને આ પશુઓ માટે વ્યવસ્થા પણ કરવી જરૂરી હતી. ત્યારે નગરપાલિકાએ કોઈ જ વ્યવસ્થા ન કરતા પશુઓના મોત થતાં ગૌસેવકો રોષે ભરાયા હતા.

પંચમહાલ જિલ્લામાં વીતેલા 24 કલાક દરમિયાન ગોધરા તાલુકા પોલીસ અને એ ડિવિઝન પોલીસ મથકના અલગ અલગ અકસ્માતના બે બનાવ સંદર્ભે ગોધરા તાલુકાના કેવડિયા ગામે એક બાઇક ચાલકે એક ટીવીએસ મોપેડ ઉપર સવાર ચાલકને અડફેટમાં લેતા ઘટનાસ્થળ ઉપર તેનું મોત થયું હતું. જ્યારે અન્ય એક ઈસમને સામાન્ય ઇજાઓ પહોંચી હતી. જ્યારે ગોધરા શહેરના એ ડિવિઝન પોલીસ મથકની હદમાં આવેલા સૈયદવાડા ખાતે એક મકાનના પાયાના ખોદકામ દરમિયાન ત્રણ જેટલા મજૂરો કામ કરી રહ્યા હતા. ત્યારે આજુબાજુમાંથી માટી ધસી પડતા એકનું મોત થયું. જ્યારે અન્ય બે લોકોનો આબાદ બચાવ થયો હતો
ઘટનાસ્થળ પર જ મોત થયું…
પ્રથમ બનાવ સંદર્ભે ગોધરાના વાવડી જલારામ મંદિર પાસે આવેલા ગીતા નિવાસ નંદનવન સોસાયટી ખાતે રહેતા પ્રભુ દયાલ રામ દુલારે વર્માએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ગઈકાલે મોટર સાયકલ ચાલક નિતેશ પટેલ પોતાની બાઈક બેફામ હંકારી લાવી ટીવીએસ મોપેડ પર સવાર દીપુ ઘનશ્યામ પાંડે ઉવ 42 નાને અડફેટે લેતા મોઢાના ભાગે ગંભીર પ્રકારની ઇજાઓ પહોંચતા સ્થળ ઉપર કમકમાટી ભર્યું મોત નિપજ્યું હતું. જ્યારે મોટર સાયકલ બાઇક ઉપર પાછળ બેઠેલા કીર્તન પટેલ રહે લાલપુર ડાયરા ફળિયાનાને શરીરે સામાન્ય ઇજાઓ પહોંચી હતી. જ્યારે મોટર સાયકલ ચાલક નીતેશ પટેલ પોતાની બાઈક ઘટનાસ્થળ ઉપર મૂકીને નાસી ગયો હતો.
માટી ધસી પડતા મોત…
બીજા બનાવ સંદર્ભે ગોધરા તાલુકાના કાલિયાવાવ નિશાળ ફળિયામાં રહેતા ગોપાલ પટેલિયા એ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ગઈકાલે ગોધરાના સૈયદવાડા વિસ્તારમાં ગુજરાત ફર્નિસિંગની સામે એક મકાનના પાયામાં ખોદકામ દરમિયાન તેમની પત્ની મણીબેન તથા ભરત ચૌહાણ અને કલા બારીયા ગઈકાલે એક મકાનના પાયાના આશરે દસ ફૂટ નીચે કામ કરતા હતા. તે વખતે આજુબાજુની માટી ઘસી પડતા માટીમાં દબાઈ ગયા હતા. જેમાં કલા બારીયાનું માટીમાં દબાઈ જતા તાત્કાલિક ફાયર બ્રિગેડ દ્વારા બહાર કાઢવામાં આવ્યા હતા અને સારવાર માટે હોસ્પિટલ લઈ જવામાં આવ્યા હતા. ત્યાં ડોક્ટરે તેમને મૃત જાહેર કર્યા હતા.
બાઈકની ચોરી થતા ફરિયાદ નોંધાઈ…
ગોધરાના વાવડી બુઝર્ગ ખાતે આવેલા ઉત્સવ બંગલા ખાતે ઘર આંગણે પાર્ક કરી મૂકી રાખેલી બે બાઇકનો કોઈ અજાણ્યા તસ્કરોએ લોક તોડીને લઈ જતા ગોધરા શહેર એ ડિવિઝન પોલીસ મથકમાં ફરિયાદ નોંધાવવામાં આવી હતી.
ગોધરા શહેરના વાવડી બુઝર્ગ ઉત્સવ બંગલા ખાતે રહેતા કૃણાલ જગુ ગામિત એ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આજથી પાંચ દિવસ પહેલા પોતાની મોટર સાયકલ બાઈક જેની કિંમત 25,000 તથા રાકેશ મુખરજીની મોટર સાયકલ બાઇક જેની કિંમત 20,000ની પોતાના ઘર આંગણામાં પર્ક કરી મૂકી રાખી હતી. ત્યારે કોઈ અજાણ્યા તસ્કરોએ બાઈકનું લોક તોડીને લઈ ગયા હતા. જેથી કૃણાલભાઈ જગુભાઈ ગામીત અને રાકેશકુમાર મુખરજી એ ગોધરા શહેરના એ ડિવિઝન પોલીસ મથકે ફરિયાદ નોંધાવી હતી. પોલીસે ગુનો દાખલ કરીને વધારે તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે.

With the discovery of two more bodies on Friday, the death toll from a human smuggling operation from Canada to the United States, reached eight. The deceased in the tragedy include a family from India.
In an update, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police said the two bodies recovered on Friday included those of an adult female believed to be an Indian national and an infant, a Canadian citizen of Romanian descent. The eight victims comprised two families of Indian citizens and Romanians including two children, both holding Canadian citizenship.
The statement said, “All are believed to have been attempting illegal entry into the US from Canada. The circumstances surrounding the deaths continue to be investigated.”
The tragedy occurred during the course of an attempt to cross the St Lawrence river, which borders Canada and the US. The region overlaps the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec and the American state of New York. An overturned vessel was also recovered.
Akwesasne Mohawk Police said they are working with Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada and America’s Homeland Security to confirm the identities of the victims so that next-of-kin notifications may be made.
Police continue to search the waterways for a local, Casey Oakes, who was reported missing on Thursday. The vessel recovered by the police matched the description of that operated by Oakes, the police service’s Deputy Chief Lee-Ann O’Brien informed the media.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was in Moncton in the province of New Brunswick, described it as “a heartbreaking situation.”
This isn’t the first time this area has been used as a route by Indians trying to illegally enter the US. In April last year, a tragedy was averted when six Indian nationals were rescued from the freezing St Regis River in the region. That followed “suspicious activity” being reported to the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service about a boat carrying “multiple subjects” on the Saint Regis river and travelling from Cornwall in the province of Ontario.
The six rescued were apprehended, and identified as citizens of India, all aged between 19 and 21 years.
That incident occurred three months after four members of family from Gujarat, were found dead due to exposure to extreme winter conditions in the province of Manitoba, near the US border, in what was also a human smuggling operation gone wrong.

રાજકોટ શહેરના રણુજા મંદિર પાસે રહેતા અને મુળ અમદાવાદ હાઇવે પર ભારવણ ગામનો નારણ ચોથાભાઈ તલાવડીયા (ઉ.વ.22) ગઇકાલે રાત્રીના તેની પત્નીને સાથે બારવણ ગામે આંટો મારવા જતા હતા ત્યારે રસ્તામાં આવેલ મેલડી માતાજીના મંદિરે તેની પત્નીને મંદિર બહાર ઉભી રાખી તેને મંદિરમાં જઈ ઝેરી દવા પી આપઘાત કરી લીધો હતો. જયારે મોડે સુધી પતિ મંદિર બહાર ન નિકળતા તેની પત્નીએ તપાસ કરતા યુવક બેભાન હાલતમાં પડયો હતો.
મૃત જાહેર કર્યો હતો
જે અંગે તેના નણંદને ફોન કરી જાણ કરી હતી અને દોડી આવેલા પરીવારજનોએ પ્રથમ કુવાડવા અને બાદમાં રાજકોટ સિવિલ હોસ્પીટલે સારવારમાં ખસેડયો હતો. જયાં ફરજ પરના તબીબોએ તેને તપાસી મૃત જાહેર કર્યો હતો.બનાવ અંગે સિવિલ ચોકીના સ્ટાફે એરપોર્ટ પોલીસને જાણ કરતા એરપોર્ટ પોલીસ સ્ટાફ દોડી આવ્યો હતો અને જરૂરી કાગળો કરી મૃતદેહને પોસ્ટમોર્ટમ અર્થે ખસેડી આપઘાતનું કારણ જાણવા પરીવારની પુછપરછ હાથ ધરી હતી.
તેનું મન બારવણમાં હતું
મૃતકના પરીવારજનોએ જણાવ્યા અનુસાર નારણના લગ્ન એક વર્ષ પહેલા હુડકોમાં રહેતી યુવતી સાથે થયા હતા. બાદમાં તેની પત્નીએ રાજકોટ રહેવાની જીદ કરી હતી. જેથી યુવક દસ દિવસથી રણુજા મંદિર પાસે રૂમ ભાડે રાખી રહેતો હતો. પરંતુ તેનું મન રાજકોટના બદલે પોતાના ગામ બારવણમાં રહેવાનું હોય જેથી ગત રોજ તેની પત્નીને બારવણ આંટો મારી આવીએ કહી બન્ને નિકળ્યા હતા અને રસ્તામાં જ અંતિમ પગલુ ભરી લીધું હતું. મૃતક મજુરીકામ કરતો અને છ ભાઈ બહેનોમાં નાનો હતો. બનાવથી પરીવારમાં આક્રંદ છવાયો હતો.

Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collected in March was ₹1,60,122 crore, the second highest monthly collections ever since its launch in July 2017, while the total gross revenue in FY23 (April 2022-March-2023) surpassed ₹18 lakh crore with over 22% year-on-year growth, the Union finance ministry said on Saturday.
HT on Friday reported that India’s GST collections in 2022-23 is set to exceed ₹18 lakh crore indicating the resilience of the Indian economy amid severe global headwinds.
“It is for the fourth time, in the current financial year that the gross GST collection has crossed ₹1.5 lakh crore mark registering second highest collection since implementation of GST. This month witnessed the highest IGST collection ever,” the ministry said in a statement.
According to the data, of the ₹1,60,122 crore collected in total, CGST [Central Goods and Services Tax] is ₹29,546 crore, SGST [State Goods and Services Tax] is ₹37,314 crore, IGST [Integrated Goods and Services Tax] is ₹82,907 crore (including ₹42,503 crore collected on import of goods) and cess is ₹10,355 crore (including ₹960 crore collected on import of goods).
The ministry said the government has settled ₹33,408 crore to CGST and ₹28,187 crore to SGST from IGST as regular settlement. The total revenue of the Centre and the states in March 2023 after IGST settlement is ₹62,954 crore for CGST and ₹65,501 crore for the SGST, it said.
The revenues for the month of March 2023 are 13% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year, informed the ministry, adding, the revenues from goods import were 8% higher and the revenues from the domestic transaction (including import of services) are 14% higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year.

The return filing during March 2023 has been the highest ever. 93.2% of the statement of invoices (in GSTR-1) and 91.4% of returns (in GSTR-3B) of February were filed till March 2023 as compared to 83.1% and 84.7%, respectively same month last year, said the ministry.
The total gross collection for 2022-23 stands at ₹18.10 lakh crore and the average gross monthly collection for the full year is ₹1.51 lakh crore, it added.
The average monthly gross GST collection for the last quarter of the FY 2022-23 has been ₹1.55 lakh crore against the average monthly collection of ₹1.51 lakh crore, ₹1.46 lakh crore and ₹1.49 lakh crore in the first, second and third quarters respectively.

હાલોલ બાયપાસ ઉપરથી હાલોલ ટાઉન પોલીસે ભારતીય બનાવટના વિદેશી દારૂનો જથ્થો ઝડપી પાડ્યો હતો. પોલીસે આઇસર ટેમ્પોમાં ભરીને લઈ જવાતો 12 લાખ રૂપિયાની કિંમતનો દારૂ પકડી પાડ્યો છે. આજે હાલોલમાં ડિવિઝનના આઠ પોલીસ મથકમાં ગત વર્ષે પકડાયેલો વિદેશી દારૂ નાશ કરવાની કામગીરી કરવામાં આવી હતી અને બીજી તરફ હાલોલ ટાઉન પોલીસે દારૂ પકડી પાડ્યો છે.
હાલોલ શહેરના બાયપાસ ઉપર આવેલી એક હોટેલ બહાર ઉભેલા આઇસર ટેમ્પોમાં ભારતીય બનાવટનો વિદેશી દારૂ હોવાની બાતમી હાલોલ ટાઉન પોઆઈ ચૌધરીને મળતા તેઓ સ્ટાફ સાથે ત્યાં પહોંચ્યા હતા. રાજસ્થાન ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટના આઇસર ટેમ્પોમાં તપાસ કરતા તેમાંથી વિદેશી દારૂ મળી આવ્યો હતો. પોલીસે ટેમ્પો સાથે રાજસ્થાનના બાડમેર જિલ્લાના સેડવા તાલુકાના બે ઈસમો મુલારામ પુનિયા (જાટ) અને ખેતારામ જાટને પકડી પાડી તેઓ સામે ગુનો નોંધી આ દારૂનો જથ્થો કોણે મોકલ્યો હતો અને ક્યાં લઈ જવામાં આવી રહ્યો હતો. તે અંગે વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરવામાં આવી હતી.
આજે હાલોલ ડિવિઝનના આઠ પોલીસ મથકોના આવા દારૂના ગુનાઓમાં પકડાયેલો મુદ્દામાલ નાશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. તેમાં હાલોલ ટાઉન પોલીસ મથકનો રૂ. 3 લાખ 70 હજાર 572નો દારૂનો નાશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે અને આજે જ ટાઉન પોલીસે તેના નાશ થયેલા જથ્થા કરતા ત્રણ ઘણી કિંમતનો દારૂ ઝડપી પાડી બુટલેગરો ઉપર ગાળિયો કસ્યો છે. પોલીસે આઇસર ટેમ્પો અને દારૂ મળી 19 લાખ રૂપિયાનો મુદ્દામાલ જપ્ત કર્યો હતો.

રાજકોટમાં ટોચના બિલ્ડર તરીકે જાણીતા આર.કે.ગ્રુપના પ્રોજેકટોમાં વ્યવહારો કરનારા લોકોને શોકોઝ નોટીસ આપવામાં આવ્યા બાદ હવે ઈન્કમટેકસ દ્વારા કેસ રીઓપન કરવાની નોટીસ ફટકારી છે. આ પ્રક્રિયા અંતર્ગત નોટીસ મેળવનારા તમામ લોકોના રીટર્નનું એસેસમેન્ટ કરવામાં આવે છે અને કોઈ ટેકસ ચોરી કરવામાં આવી છે કે કેમ તેની ચકાસણી કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.
કેસ રી-ઓપન
રાજકોટના નામાંકિત બિલ્ડરો પૈકી એક એવા આર.કે. ગ્રુપ સાથે લેતી-દેતી કરનારા તથા પ્રોજેકટોમાં ખરીદી કરનારા લોકોને કેસ રીઓપન કેમ ન કરવો તેવા પ્રકારની શોકોઝ નોટીસ આપવામાં આવી હતી અને જવાબ માંગવામાં આવ્યો હતો. જેમાં હવે નાણાકીય વર્ષના છેલ્લા દિવસોમાં ઈન્કમટેકસ દ્વારા કેસ રીઓપન કરવાની નોટીસ ફટકારવામાં આવી છે. કેસ રી-ઓપન અંતર્ગત નોટીસ મેળવનારા તમામ કરદાતાઓએ ફરીથી રીટર્ન ફાઈલ કરવાના રહેશે. રીટર્ન ફાઈલ થયા બાદ ઈન્કમટેકસ દ્વારા એસેસમેન્ટ કરવામાં આવશે.

આ દરમિયાન આવક-ટેકસ છુપાવવામાં આવ્યો છે કે કેમ તેની ચકાસણીના આધારે આખરી ઓર્ડર કરવામાં આવશે. જો કે છેલ્લા ત્રણ-ચાર દિવસમાં જ ઢગલાબંધ નોટીસો ઈસ્યુ થઈ છે. શોકોઝ નોટીસો દેવાની બાકી રહી ગઈ હોય તેવા કેટલાકને સીધી જ રી-ઓપનની નોટીસ ફટકારાઈ છે.
500 કરોડના વ્યવહારો ખુલ્યા
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે રાજકોટ ઈન્કમટેકસના ઈન્વેસ્ટીગેશન દ્વારા ગત ઓગષ્ટ 2021માં આર.કે. ગ્રુપ પર મોટાપાયે દરોડા ઓપરેશન હાથ ધર્યુ હતું. 40 સ્થળોએ દરોડા કાર્યવાહી દરમ્યાન અંદાજીત 500 કરોડના વ્યવહારો રોકડના ધોરણે થયાનો ખુલાસો થયો હતો તેમાંથી 350 કરોડ પ્રોપર્ટી વેચાણ પેટે રોકડ સ્વીકારાયાનું બહાર આવ્યુ હતું. આ પ્રકરણની તપાસ આગળ ધપાવીને બિલ્ડરના પ્રોજેકટોમાં ઓફીસ કે ફ્લેટ ખરીદનારાઓને નોટીસ આપવામાં આવી છે. ગ્રુપ દ્વારા 154 કરોડની જમીનની ખરીદી થયાનું અને તેમાંથી 144 કરોડ રોકડમાં ચુકવાયાનુ બહાર આવ્યુ હોવાથી તેમાં પણ તપાસ આગળ વધારવામાં આવી હતી.
આર.કે. ગ્રુપ ફાઇનાન્સના વ્યવસાય સાથે પણ જોડાયેલું છે.

આવકવેરા દ્વારા કેસ રી-ઓપનની નોટીસો ફટકારવામાં આવે ત્યારે પ્રક્રિયા નિશ્ર્ચિત હોય છે. નોટીસ મેળવનારા કરદાતાને નવેસરથી રીટર્ન ભરવાનુ થાય છે તેમાં અગાઉના રીટર્નમાં ફેરફાર કરી શકે છે. ત્યારબાદ રીટર્નનુ એસેસમેન્ટ કરવામાં આવે છે. જે નાણાકીય વ્યવહાર માટે નોટીસ ફટકારવામાં આવી હોય તે યોગ્ય છે કે કેમ તેની ઝીણવટભરી તપાસ થાય છે. શંકા જવાના સંજોગોમાં દસ્તાવેજી પુરાવા માંગવામાં આવે છે. સમગ્ર વ્યવહારમાં આવક છુપાવવાનું કે ટેકસ ચોરી થયાનુ માલુમ પડવાના સંજોગોમાં ટેકસ રિકવરીના ઓર્ડર કાઢવામાં આવે છે. આવકવેરામાં એસેસમેન્ટ કાર્યવાહી હવે ઓનલાઈન અને ફેસલેસ રહે છે એટલે એકાદ વર્ષ પ્રક્રિયા ચાલે તો પણ કરદાતા છટકી શકતો નથી

આ બ્લડ-ડોનેશન કેમ્પ દરમિયાન વર્તુળ કચેરીના વહીવટી વડા જે.એમ. રોય પોતે બ્લડ કેમ્પમાં સહભાગી થઈ બ્લડ આપી બીજા કર્મચારીઓને બ્લડ આપવા પ્રોત્સાહિત કર્યા હતા. આકસ્મિક જરૂરિયાત સમયે કોઈકની જિંદગી બચાવી શકાય તેવા હેતુથી આ કેમ્પનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ બ્લડ ડોનેશન હતું.

A top Ukrainian official on Saturday criticised the ‘symbolic blow’ of Russia assuming the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council.
“It’s not just a shame. It is another symbolic blow to the rules-based system of international relations,” Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president’s chief of staff, wrote in English on Twitter.
On Saturday Russia took over the presidency of the UN’s top security body, which rotates every month. The last time Moscow held the post was in February 2022, when its troops launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin said on Friday it planned to “exercise all its rights” in the role.
The United States on Thursday urged Russia to “conduct itself professionally” when it assumes the role, saying there was no means to block Moscow from the post.
Ukrainian official Yermak also hit out at Iran, who Kyiv and its allies accuse of supplying Russia with arms, including hundreds of assault drones which have menaced Ukrainian infrastructure facilities. Tehran denies supplying Russia with weapons.
“It is very telling that on the holiday of one terror state – Iran – another terror state – Russia – begins to preside over the UN Security Council,” Yermak wrote, referring to Iran’s Islamic Republic Day holiday.

પ્રાપ્ત વિગતો મુજબ, ગોંડલ નગરપાલિકા ટેક્સ શાખાના ટેક્સ સુપ્રીમટેન્ડન્ટ અમિતભાઈ ધાનાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ગત નાણાકીય વર્ષમાં ગોંડલ નગરપાલિકાના પ્રમુખ ભાવનાબેન રૈયાણી, ગૌતમભાઈ સિંધવ અને કારોબારી ચેરમેન ઓમદેવસિંહ જાડેજાની નીગરાની હેઠળ ટેક્સ શાખા દ્વારા આખા વર્ષ દરમિયાન ટેક્સ ઉઘરાવવા માટે તનતોડ મહેનત કરવામાં આવી હતી. નાણાકીય વર્ષોના અંતે કુલ રૂ. 10 કરોડ 78 લાખ 84 હજાર 203ની આવક કરી રેકોર્ડ બ્રેક કર્યો છે. આવડી મોટી આવક અત્યાર સુધીમાં નગરપાલિકાના ઇતિહાસમાં થવા પામી નથી અને તેમાં પણ નાણાકીય વર્ષના અંતિમ મહિના એટલે કે માર્ચ એન્ડિંગમાં રૂપિયા 1 કરોડ 53 લાખ 64 હજાર 587ની આવક કરી છે.
આ રેકોર્ડ બ્રેક કરવામાં વોર્ડ ક્લાર્ક દિનેશભાઈ અજાગિયા, હરેશભાઈ બોરીસાગર, ભરતભાઈ ભુંડિયા, હરેશભાઈ બાબરીયા, જીતુભાઈ અપરનાથી, ભાવેશભાઈ ભટ્ટી, હિતેન્દ્રસિંહ સરવૈયા, દેવરાજ સિંહ ઝાલા, ધ્રુવરાજસિંહ વાળા, કેશીયર પ્રકાશબા સરવૈયા, વ્યોમાબેન ભેડા, મિત ભેડા, ગનીભાઇ ગામોટ, રફિકભાઇ સુમરા અને ભરતભાઈ મક્કાએ જહેમત ઉઠાવી હતી. અત્રે એ ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા વ્યાજ માફીની સ્કીમ આપવામાં આવી હોય જે નગરપાલિકાના ટેક્સ શાખાના કર્મચારીઓ દ્વારા લોકોના ઘરે-ઘરે, દુકાને-દુકાને જઈ સમજાવવામાં આવતા લોકો ટેક્સ ભરતા થયા હતા. ફેડરલ બેંક દ્વારા પોસ્ટ મશીન આપવામાં આવ્યા. જે ટેક્નોલોજીની મદદથી લોકો ક્રેડિટ કાર્ડથી પણ ટેક્સ ભરવા લાગ્યા હતા.

ભારત અને ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા વચ્ચે રમાયેલી ટેસ્ટ મેચમાં ખાલિસ્તાનીઓ દ્વારા ધમકી આપવા મામલે અમદાવાદ સાયબર પોલીસ દ્વારા મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ કાર્યવાહી કરવામાં આવી છે. સાયબર પોલીસ દ્વારા ઉત્તર પ્રદેશમાંથી ત્રણ સીમ બોક્સ સહિત બે શકમંદ આરોપીની અટકાયત કરવામાં આવી છે. ખાલિસ્તાનીઓની ધમકી બાબતે અગાઉ મધ્યપ્રદેશ કનેક્શન સામે આવ્યા પછી હવે ઉત્તર પ્રદેશ કનેક્શન સામે આપ્યું છે. એટલે સાઇબર ક્રાઇમ પોલીસે ઉત્તર પ્રદેશમાંથી ત્રણ સિમબોકસ જપ્ત કર્યાં છે.
અગાઉ બે આરોપીની અટકાયત કરાઈ હતી
9 માર્ચના રોજ સાઇબર ક્રાઇમ દ્વારા ખાલિસ્તાનીઓ દ્વારા પ્રિ રેકોર્ડેડ મેસેજ થકી ધમકી આપવા બાબતે ફરિયાદ નોંધાઈ હતી. જે બાદ પોલીસ દ્વારા મધ્યપ્રદેશના મુરેનામાંથી બે આરોપી અને 13 બોક્સ જપ્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. જેમાં પૂછપરછ દરમિયાન પોલીસને લીડ મળતા ઉત્તર પ્રદેશમાં તપાસ શરૂ કરી હતી. જેના આધારે ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના મેરઠ નજીકના મોદીનગરના એક મકાનમાંથી વધુ ત્રણ સિમબોક્સ મળી આવ્યા.
વધુ 2 શકમંદ આરોપીની અટકાયત
અત્યાર સુધી સાયબર ક્રાઇમ પોલીસે કુલ 16 સિમબોક્સ, બે આરોપીની ધરપકડ અને 2 શકમંદ આરોપીની અટકાયત કરી છે. દેશના લોકોમાં ડરનો માહોલ ઉભો કરીને દેશની એકતા અને ખંડિતાને નુકસાન પહોંચાડવા માટે ખાલીસ્તાની ચળવળકારો દ્વારા આ પ્રકારના મેસેજ વાઈરલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
