Surat youth receiving death threats
A young man from Surat, who strongly condemned the brutal murder of Kanaiyalal in Udaipur, has been threatened with death on social media.
Surat: A young man from Surat who strongly condemned the brutal murder of Kanaiyalal in Udaipur on social media (Social Media) Has been threatened with death. He has been threatened by another Muslim youth on Instagram in protest of the murder of a common shopkeeper in Udaipur by a young man named Yuvraj Pokhar and the subsequent killing of two young men whose videos went viral on social media. The proposal to file a police complaint has been undertaken throughout this chapter.
However, following the threat, Yuvraj’s family is also worried. A young man named Yuvraj Pokhar, who lives at Umra in Surat, was recently strongly condemned in a post on social media regarding the murder of Taylor Kanaiyalal in Udaipur. Following which, he has been threatened by a young man named Faisal. The Udaipur massacre, which is currently raging across the country, has created a fire-like situation in Rajasthan. Now even a young man from Surat has been threatened with death in this manner.
Importantly, as part of precaution, Yuvraj Pokhran has lodged an application with the Police Commissioner’s Office regarding the whole incident and a proposal to lodge a police complaint regarding the incident has also been taken up. Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s rude remarks about Islam’s cleric were widely opposed across the country. Meanwhile, following the support of Nupur Sharma on social media, a tailor named Kanaiyalal broke into Udaipur and was brutally murdered.
The whole affair has now reached the police commissioner’s office as the incident has created a lot of tension in Rajasthan. Even before this, a young man from Surat has received such threats on social media.
