CM Ashok Gehlot met Kanhaiyalal’s family
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached Kanaiyalal’s house today and expressed his condolences to his family. He also handed over a check of Rs 51 lakh to Kanaiyalal’s family. Kanaiyalal was beheaded by two men who broke into his shop.

Two people broke into Kanaiyalal’s shop and arrested Nupur Sharma from BJP (Nupur Sharma) Beheaded him for writing status in support. Both the killers are currently in the custody of the NIA.
Speaking to media after meeting the relatives, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the NIA was now investigating the whole matter. We want the culprits to be punished by taking the case to fast track court as soon as possible. The whole country is saddened by the murder of Kanaiyalal. He said the Udaipur incident has shaken the entire country. The manner in which murder has been committed is a heinous crime. We took immediate, quick action and took both fast. The case was handed over to the SOG ATS and it was learned overnight that the incident was related to international organizations.

There is outrage across the country over the incident – CM Gehlot
CM Ashok Gehlot said that a case of terrorism has been registered under UAPA, after which the NIA has taken up the case. Now SOG will give them full cooperation. The scope of the NIA is vast. Whenever such an incident occurs at the national-international level of terrorism, it similarly tries to get to its root in various ways. He said, “I hope the NIA will act quickly and punish as soon as possible. This is the expectation of the whole state and I understand that this is what the whole country wants. The outrage that has arisen in everyone’s heart over this incident, every citizen wants speedy justice, speedy action and punishment as soon as possible.
NIA to bring killers to Delhi
It is being said that the NIA is preparing to bring both the accused in Kanaiyalal’s murder to Delhi. Mobile and electronic devices seized from the accused will be sent for forensic investigation, sources said. Investigative agencies suspect that the suspects watched ISIS videos to carry out the killings. Sources said the accused were also in contact with some strangers in Pakistan before and after committing the crime.
