On the Kadi-Sanand road, near Jetpura village, two bikers pulled a gold thread worth Rs.80 thousand from the neck of a woman riding a bike with her husband and escaped. The Bavlu police have conducted an investigation regarding this.
Thakor Krishnaben Badarji, a resident of Bhawanpur village of Sanand taluka, went to Pier Dhandalpur village for social work on July 17 last. Both husband and wife were returning home on bikes after finishing work. Then, on the highway from Kadi to Sanand, 2 youths of 20 years who were riding a Pulsar bike near Ramdev Pir’s temple on the highway from Kadi to Sanand, broke the gold thread worth Rs.80 thousand from Krishnaben’s neck and fled towards Meda Adaraj village.
The police have registered a case based on the complaint of Krishnaben Thakor. An atmosphere of fear has arisen among the local people after the gold thread of a washed-up woman was dragged on the road of the interior village.
