In Haryana’s Rewari city, thieves broke into a house and stole lakhs of rupees. The victim’s family had gone to a relative’s place in Kota Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan at the time of the incident. Model Town police station has detained one accused in the case.
According to the information received, Madanlal, a resident of Hansnagar located on Bhadawas Road of the city, told that he runs a private bus in Rewari only. Her son’s in-laws house is in Kota Sawai Madhopur. He had gone to a relative’s place to inquire about his condition. When he returned late on Tuesday night, the locks in the rooms inside the house were found broken.
The lock of the cupboard kept in a room was also found broken and all the items were scattered. When checked, 35 thousand cash, 1 gold chain and gold neck set, two rings, 2 rings were found missing. According to Madanlal, the thieves entered the house by climbing the wall. The lock outside the house was not broken. An ax and hammer were also found lying inside the house.
On receiving the information, the Model Town Police Station reached the spot and registered a case of theft. The police have arrested a suspect involved in the theft. He is under interrogation.
