After killing two shooters of Sidhu Moosewala massacre in Bhakna village of Amritsar, Punjab Police will tighten the noose on gangsters with the help of Coordination Committee of 5 states. Confirming this, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that due to coordination between the police of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, gangsters will not be able to take shelter in another state after committing crimes in one state. The police will keep an eye on the moment-to-moment movement of the gangsters.

Gangsters living abroad will also not be able to carry out crimes easily in Punjab through their henchmen. Will tighten the noose on gangsters living abroad including Goldie Brar. A special team has been formed to arrest the shooter Deepak Mundi, who is still absconding after the Sidhu Musewala murder case. Anti-Gangster Task Force Chief ADGP Pramod Ban said that sharp shooter Deepak Mundi is on our radar.

Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh police will coordinate and take action against gangsters. The Coordination Committee of 5 states will continuously exchange information. ADGP level officers have been made nodal officers. In the meeting, an effective strategy will be chalked out to nab the international gangsters. As soon as the information about any criminal is received, the committee will be alerted and will share the details in other states.

  • The movement of gangsters will be monitored moment by moment, the gangsters living abroad will also be controlled
  • Other states will be able to share the details with the said officers on the apprehension of a criminal being in the respective state.
  • All nodal officers will have to provide details within 24 hours so that immediate action can be taken.
  • This committee will also liaise with the intelligence so that the information is provided immediately based on the inputs.

Selected officers will be included in the committee

In the coordination committee of 5 states to be formed to end gangsterism, select officers will be included in their team by making ADGP level officers in all the states as nodal officers. Action will be taken immediately by informing the nodal officers about the inputs of gangsters in any state. The committee will be in constant touch with the Intelligence.

Mohali becomes a haven for gangsters
According to the police, Mohali, adjacent to Chandigarh, is becoming a haven for gangsters. The number of flats in Mohali has been increasing over the years. The criminals take a flat here and carry out their crimes and run towards other states via Chandigarh. The police will now work to nab the gangsters by conducting a special search operation in Mohali district as well. The accused are hiding in Delhi, Rajasthan and other states by committing murders.

Anti-Gangster Task Force Chief ADGP Pramod Ban said that the gangsters involved in the Sidhu Musewala murder case have been found to have links with several gangsters lodged in Punjab jails. SIT probed the mansion in Bhakna, got videography done

IG Border Range Munish Chawla has formed an SIT to investigate the encounter of Roopa and Mannu. On Friday, the committee went to Bhakna village and inspected the haveli. SDM Ajnala Amanpreet Singh also visited the haveli. Videography of the haveli was done.
