A meeting with various concerned officials was held under the chairmanship of Panchmahal Collector Sujal Mayatra at Zilla Seva Sadan Godhra under “Nari Vandan Utsav”. In which proper advice and suggestions were given by the Collector to various officials.
Know the outline of the seven day program
As part of Nari Vandan Utsav, “Women Protection Day” will be celebrated in Panchmahal district on August 01. In which a seminar will be organized for the awareness of the legal schemes and the demonstration of the stake of self defense through the security bridge will be held.
02 August“Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” day will be celebrated in which women will interact with the Collector/District Development Officer over coffee. Along with this, the approval order of Dear Daughter Scheme will be distributed. Leading women athletes in the sports field of the district will promote women by becoming brand ambassadors. Along with this, an awareness program will be held at Anganwadi Centers with pregnant and lactating mothers on the occasion of “Breast Feeding Week”. Icds will conduct an awareness program on menstrual and reproductive health for adolescent girls. Anemia, Corona Booster Dose Vaccination, Iron Folic Acid Tablet Distribution, Sanitary Pad, Hemoglobin Test, Health Check etc. camps will be organized for teenage girls.
03 AugustState level “Women Self-Employment Day” program will be held in Panchmahal district on . Women entrepreneurs will be honoured. Awareness seminars will be held on working women’s rights and knowledge of welfare schemes.
04 August“Women’s Leadership Day” program will be held on In which women sarpanch, taluka and district level women who have contributed significantly to the society will be honoured. A dialogue will be held on Panchayati Raj and Social Exploration. Women farmers who have contributed to the field of agriculture and dairy farming will be honoured.
05 August“Mahila Karmayogi Divas” program will be celebrated on In which an awareness seminar will be held under the Sexual Harassment of Women Act 2013 at the workplace. A program will be held on awareness about mental health.
06 August“Women’s Welfare Day” will be celebrated on In which women awareness camp will be held for school and college students. In coordination with the Department of Education, the girls’ education and promotion schemes and skill development centers of the Labor and Employment Department will be imparted by experts on women’s ITI colleges. Students who have excelled in the field of education will be honored in public. Poster making, rangoli, essay competition, vriktva competition and drawing competition will be organized with the girls of the school and college.
07 August“Women and Child Health Day” will be celebrated on In which awareness camp, how to diagnose female diseases, demonstration of nutritious dishes at Anganwadi center and cooking show for healthy dishes from take home ration will be organized.
Additional Collector MD Chudasama, District Development Officer Arjunsingh Rathore and various related department officials were present in this meeting today.
