Police had received information that Faizan alias Babu Kalio, a resident of Pol, a big trader, was illegally selling a quantity of cough syrup near his house. On the basis of which, the raiding police found a quantity of 161 Nang Cuff Syrup hidden under an iron ladder. Although the accused was not found during the investigation, the police have registered a case and seized a quantity of cough syrup.
Areas like Jamalpur, Karanj and Kalupur are drug hubs
Areas like Jamalpur, Karanj and Kalupur have become drug hubs. In particular, many drugs including cough syrup and solution tubes are involved. In Kalupur area, the police investigation has revealed that tubes of solution are being sold by children in different areas of the city. Cough syrup is just as bad then.
