- Unidentified Middle aged Body Found In Suspicious Condition 100 Meters From Mahaveer Slum, Notorious For Liquor In Anand

- Anand city police denied that the middle-aged man had died due to drinking and termed the whole incident as a rumour.
While the local and foreign liquor dens are being raided by the police after the riot in Barwala of Ahmedabad district, on the other hand, on Friday afternoon, the body of an unknown middle-aged man was found in a suspicious condition 100 meters away from Mahaveer slum, which is notorious for liquor in Anand city.
However, following the incident, the city police were rushed and late in the evening, the body was shifted to Anand City Mini Civil Hospital for post-mortem. However, as the whole incident spread rapidly in the city, the police also tried to cover it up. As a result of which the unknown middle-aged man died, it could not be ascertained.
It may be noted here that a middle-aged man was seen sitting on the steps of a Sarvodaya shop on the road near Minerva Guest House, a ditch from which Mahaveer goes towards the slum, in the CCTV footage at around 10:30 am. He also had a stranger. Meanwhile, he was sitting till three or four in the afternoon. Then suddenly he collapsed. After the incident, there was no trace of the unknown person with him.
However, when he was found unconscious far away from the slum, the locals tried to revive him by splashing water on him. But he did not wake up and informed the police. On investigation by the police, he was found to be dead. Following which, his body was shifted to the mini civil hospital of the city. Postmortem will be done on Saturday morning.
A complaint will be filed against those who spread rumours
An unidentified middle-aged man was found dead. But the cause of his death is not known. However, a rumor was spread about the whole incident saying that Isam had died due to drinking alcohol. The police are in a hurry to act against the rumormongers than to know the cause of death
Policeman Anirudh Singh Gohil said that we are currently looking for his guardian. The exact cause of death will be known after his post-mortem on Saturday morning. However, the police action in the entire incident has come under suspicion. Because, it is being discussed that the police have threatened the locals to keep distance from the media.
Action against the rumormongers is necessary, but more than that it is equally important to know the cause of death given the present circumstances. However, the entire incident seems to indicate that the police are in a hurry to take action against the rumor mongers than to find out the cause of death.
