In order to make the country’s democracy stronger and maximum citizens can exercise their right to vote, the Election Commission of India has announced four different dates in a year for the eligibility to register as a new voter. A district level workshop was held at BJVM on the initiative of the clubs.
In the workshop, the Election and Provincial Officer of Anand Assembly Constituency Vimal Barot appealed to the citizens to exercise maximum voting rights to make democracy stronger and requested the youth to contribute so that no citizen is deprived of voting. He appealed to strengthen democracy by stating that it is becoming an important organ.
At the time of registering as a voter, every student was asked to fill all the correct details and exercise their right to vote even in their busy times. Deputy Mamlatdar Deepakbhai Rathod and Kaushik Rana, BLO Supervisor Harshadbhai Rathod along with NSS Project Coordinator Karthikbhai and Sector Officer Vinod Patel were present.
