Ahmedabad: An application has been filed in the Gujarat High Court against the decision of the Gujarat government to include the great book of Indian culture, Shrimad Bhagwad Gita in the curriculum in school education. & Nbsp; The applicant & nbsp; It is claimed that this decision of the Gujarat government is contrary to the National Education Policy. & Nbsp; The petitioner is of the view that education for students should be holistic. Education based on a particular religion should not be imposed on children. The High Court has issued notices to the parties including the Gujarat government and the state education department in this regard and sought an explanation in this regard. & Nbsp;

Last March 17, the government announced & nbsp;
Lessons of & nbsp; Bhagavad & nbsp; Gita will be taught from primary school for irrigation. Now & nbsp; the state education department has issued a circular in this regard. & Nbsp;

From the year 2022-23, Indian culture and knowledge system will be incorporated in school education.

Std. 6th to 8th will be given in the form of story, reading, recitation in the textbook, which will also be evaluated.

Also in Std. 9th to 12th The Bhagavad Gita will be introduced in the first language textbook in the form of story and recitation. Our scholars also say that the Bhagavad Gita has the solution to all the questions. The Bhagavad Gita is the guide of every human being. Preparations for the principles of the Bhagavad Gita have been incorporated into the new education policy. Education Minister Jitu Waghan informed that Bhagwad & nbsp; Gita will be introduced in the syllabus. Different parts of the Bhagavad Gita will be taught. There will also be verses of Bhagwat Gita, oratory competition, essay competition.
