Siddhapur MLA Chandanji Thakor has written to the Secretary of Narmada Water Assets Water Supply and Kalpsar Division to release water in the check dam constructed in the Saraswati river flowing near Siddhapur Madhupavadi.
Demand to release water in check dam soon
Siddpur MLA Chandanji Thakor said in a statement that Saraswati river flows near Madhupavdi in our constituency Siddpur city. A big check dam has been built on this river and due to moderate rainfall in North Gujarat this year, there is no water in the river Siddapur and there are five Mahadevs in Siddapur city. Currently, the month of Shravan has started. Devotees come to see Mahadev and lament the lack of water in the river. If water is immediately poured into the check dam made in the Saraswati river, it is very useful for the devotees who come for darshan and since it is Shravan month, it is very necessary to fill the water. Hence a letter has been written to the Secretary of Narmada Water Resources Water Supply and Kalpsar Division to fill the check dam immediately.
