National Testing Agency (NTA)No officials gave this information on Friday. He said such candidates would be given a second chance in the second phase in August. In fact, technical deficiencies were observed in the examination centers at New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and Pathankot in Punjab. After this the examination held here was canceled.

A senior NTA official said, “More than 190 candidates to appear at these two centers will be given a chance in the second phase in August. At the same time, the candidates due to the change in the examination centers CUET-UG Couldn’t give, they will also get a second chance. The first phase of the exam has started. The examination is being conducted in two stages. The first phase examination will be held in July, while the second phase examination will be held in August.

14.9 lakh candidates registered for CUET

Candidates who have opted for Physics, Chemistry or Biology will have to give the paper under the second phase of CUET examination. This is done in view of the NEET UG exam to be held on July 17. The exam for the first slot started at 9 am on Friday. 14.9 lakh candidates were registered under CUET. Thus, it has become the second largest entrance exam in the country. It has also overtaken the JEE Mains exam, which averages 9 lakh registrations. Under CUET, admission to UG courses will be offered in all central universities.

Admission will be available in many universities

Currently, NEET-UG is the largest entrance exam in the country, for which 18 lakh children register every year. Ahead of the commencement of the examination, many students expressed concern over multiple examinations, delay in the release of admit cards and no selection center in a short period of time. However, the University Grants Commission (UGC) claimed that 98 per cent of the students were allotted the center of their minds. Under CUET, admission will be given in 44 central universities, 12 state universities, 11 deemed universities and 19 private universities.
